2022 Individual Registration

What is the Ski For Life Event?

Picture this...a long weekend in South Australia where people from all over Australia come together to water ski as teams along the 456km Murray River stretch between Murray Bridge and Renmark, all in three days. There is food galore, camping along the way, epic fun (and some epic stacks too!), water fights, sing-alongs, deep and meaningful, and a whole lot of purpose.

 

Our aim? To waterski a huge distance to shed some light on mental health and suicide in the hope to prevent the already widespread epidemic, and to reduce its impact on the ones we love and strangers alike.

Prior to Registration, please familiarise yourself with the following document and guidelines.

NOTE - MAIN REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED
The following form is an 'extended' link that will expire on the 6/2/22.

Unfortunately, Paringa Resort is not available for use at the 2022 event as it is being used as a Government COVID-19 quarantine site. Therefore, we have made the following three options available for Sunday night (13/03/2022) at Renmark.

 

Places have been reserved at both the Renmark Hotel and Citrus Valley Motel for SFL participants until the 15th of Jan 2022, so please call them early to ensure your spot. After this time, they will open any accommodation to the general public.

 

There will be parking for vehicles and boats at each location, with security provided.

 

  1. Renmark Hotel - (150m from Renmark Club)
    Range of rooms to choose from, from budget motel rooms to Riverview Balcony spa rooms. To view room options please see the website under accommodation https://www.renmarkhotel.com.au/ Bookings must be made by calling Renmark Hotel on 8586 6755. When booking a room please give your boat/team name. 
    This needs to be booked and paid for by individuals. 

     

  2. Citrus Valley Motel - (750m from Renmark Club)
    Range of rooms to choose from twin rooms to family rooms. To view more information please see the website http://citrusvalleymotel.com.au/
    Bookings must be done by calling Citrus Valley Motel on 8586 6717.
    When booking a room please give your boat/team name. 
    This needs to be booked and paid for by individuals. 

     

  3. Calperum Station - (16 min drive from Renmark Club, Buses provided)
    This is included in the Ski for Life cost. Camping grounds with toilet and shower facilities available. Large camp kitchen and dining space available for use by Ski for Life participants. You don't need to book this option, we will arrange a site on your behalf.

This year’s event will require all participants to be double vaccinated against Covid 19. Participants Under the age of 16 or anyone with an approved medical exemption is exempt from this. Please attach either a screenshot or image of your certificate that clearly shows your name and vaccination information.
