Mates On a Mission Boarder Watch - Advocates promote speaking up for mentalhealth

MENTAL health advocates are doing the rounds on the Limestone Coast to encouragepeople to better look after their mental health.

Ben Pettingill and Mike Rolls have toured the South East over the last week and a half todeliver talks through the Ski For Life Mates on a Mission program.

You Can’t Ask That!

A recent episode of the ABC TV show “You can’t ask that” asks suicide attempt survivors the awkward or uncomfortable questions you’ve always wanted to know the answers to, but never had the guts to ask. Two of those interviewed were participants in Ski for Life 2017 and we thank Bill and Al for their incredible bravery and honesty in answering the questions posed.

Barry Pope - 1240 Km Walk

On the 16th of January 2021, Barry Pope is setting off on the walk of a lifetime! Starting at Spalding heading to Mount Gambier and back, walking a total of 1,240km. Popey has chosen to raise funds for mental health projects in his local district and has chosen to do this through Ski For Life. Check out the video below for more information
