Projects

Community-led initiatives supporting mental health, wellbeing, and connection in rural and regional Australia.

Ski for Life supports and delivers a range of projects designed to promote mental health, wellbeing, and meaningful connection across rural and regional communities.

Our projects use conversation, storytelling, and lived experience to break down stigma, encourage help-seeking, and create spaces where people feel supported and understood.

How our projects work

Our projects are delivered through a mix of approaches, depending on community need and partnership opportunities. This includes:

  • Ski for Life-led initiatives, developed and delivered by our community and volunteers.

  • Partnership projects, where we support experienced organisations or facilitators to deliver proven programs into regional communities.

  • Shared platforms, such as media and storytelling projects that extend conversations beyond a single location.

What our projects focus on

Across all projects, we prioritise initiatives that:

  • Promote open conversations around mental health and wellbeing.

  • Share lived experience to help reduce stigma.

  • Support rural and regional communities.

  • Create practical, meaningful impact at a local level.
