The 10th anniversary year is done and dusted! We saw incredible support from new and existing teams and the Riverland community that we are proud to be a part of.

As the significance of the major flooding to the Murray River unfolded in front of our eyes, the impact of the rising river levels meant that Ski for Life was not able to hold our iconic waterski relay event in 2023. The Ski for Life Committee wanted to support the Riverland communities that have supported the Ski for Life family over the last 10 years, by holding community events throughout the Riverland during the March long weekend.

Mary O'Brian from 'Are You Bogged Mate?' was our guest speaker out at the Cobby Club, while - Legless and Blind presented Ski for Life's Mates on a Mission at the Renmark Club.  

Our thoughts are with the Riverland Communities, and everyone connected to the River, be it through recreational or business. The Ski for Life Community has the mental health and wellbeing in the forefront of our minds, and we will support the communities as the River subsides over the coming year. It is during this time, that we were able to have the biggest impact by mobilising some assistance to the areas where we have the resources available to physically and emotionally help the Riverland Communities to rebuild and return to what will become their new normal over the years to come.
